Lake Forest District 2

I’m asking for your support and for your vote on November 3, 2026.

District 2 - that’s generally Baker Ranch, Serrano Park, Peachwood, the Via’s. A precise district map is on the City Website: ‍ ‍District Map

If you are in District 4 - please support Amy Stevens: Amy Stevens

District 1 & 5 are not up for election this cycle.

District 3 - TBD.

The job of a City Council member in a city like Lake Forest where major services are contracted out, should be 85% boring. The Council member’s time should be spent carefully reviewing staff reports, code enforcement updates and contracts from vendors which cover the range from trash pickup to public safety with the OC Sheriff. The City staff and the contracted companies need to be held responsible for performing contracted duties to provide services to our cities’ residents, businesses and guests – on time, efficiently and up to agreed standards.

I’m a CPA and I do boring – carefully and proudly!

Lake Forest currently has City Council members with backgrounds in the military, sheriff’s department and sales. I believe my financial and technical background would bring complimentary perspectives to the Council.

City Council Basics:

The City of Lake Forest is divided into five districts. District Map

The Council Members have four year staggered terms with three up for election in 2026 and the other two in 2028. Since a 2018 ballot measure, Council Members are generally restricted to two terms.

Candidates for all districts can be seen on the Public Access Portal link from the City website. Filing can be done as late as early August, but candidates are restricted in soliciting donations until they have done initial campaign finance disclosures. Public Portal for Campaign Finance

That fun 15%

There is serious fun –including making sure that the City is on track to provide quality housing, particularly affordable housing as required by California law. And making sure that improvements are made to parks. And that the senior activity center is thriving.

And there is the fun fun – supporting the Taste of Lake Forest, Snowfest, 4th of July Parade and support for the Race and other activities that bring the City together.
