I have lived in Lake Forest since 1992 and it is a great place to live and work. As a recent retiree, I would like to give back to the City with the skills and time I have. Besides being a CPA, my resume includes extensive technical and project management work.

               The last 20 years of my career, I ran major business system conversions. This involved working with everyone from the order clerk and the shipping clerk to the CFO to understand all of their needs and how the new system could address these. This was followed by training, adjusting, converting data and managing the project and the deadlines. Plus helping users mange the stress of these changes, as they still tried to get their daily work done.

               I’ve raised 2 children in Lake Forest. One has stayed in the City and owns a small business here, giving me additional appreciation for the needs of a vibrant business community.

               I’ve been involved in various organizations including the El Toro High School PSTO from 1996 through 2004 (including stints as Parliamentarian, Auditor and President). I was a key member of the Lake Forest Race Committee from 1999 to 2015, helping keep the community spirit and fund El Toro teacher needs long after my own kids had graduated.

              I’ve attended the Lake Forest Civic Academy and Council meetings to better understand how Lake Forest operates.
